Congratulations! And thank you for everything you do for our community.
The Advisory Committee of the Chinook Fund invites you and your guest(s) to our third and final effort to host the 2021 Chinook Fund Fundraising Dinner, on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Hemingway Room of The Commons, 1204 20 Avenue SE, Calgary.
We are excited to welcome Chinook Fund supporters for an evening of great conversation.
We will also be announcing the 2021 Hero Award and Chinook Fund grant recipients.
Michel Bourque has retired from the Chinook Fund Advisory Committee effective immediately. Our sincere thanks to Michel for his fantastic efforts and contributions to the Chinook Fund over the years. You will be missed!
Bryan Clarke, a long-time supporter of the Chinook Fund, has joined our committee. Welcome Bryan. We look forward to working with you!
The Chinook Fund Dinner for 2021 is being postponed. Again. With the 5th wave of COVID-19 still building in Calgary, the Advisory Committee of the Chinook Fund has decided not to host a dinner this month.
Although planning in the age of COVID is extraordinarily challenging…our current thinking is to host the dinner as soon as Omicron subsides. Watch for news as soon as it is clear this current wave has peaked.
Thank you to all those who have given so generously in 2021!
For those who have not made a donation this year, we need your support. Please donate now by clicking here.
2021 is the second year we have had to postpone the dinner, our largest annual fundraising event. Year to date, we have received just over $25,000 which is only half of our average annual donations over the last nine years.
That said, we were able to issue over $24,000 in grants this year in support of the community. We need your help to maintain and grow the capital in the Chinook Fund to ensure we can fund long-term initiatives in our community.
