We are living in strange times.
COVID-19 has changed everything. How we live. How we work. How we interact with others. Pride. Even the Chinook Fund Dinner.
In the early days of the pandemic, it became clear hosting a large indoor dinner was not on this year. Although we considered alternative formats, we ultimately decided to take a pandemic pause on hosting any kind of events in 2020.
We hope to be back in the Fall of 2021.
In the meantime, we are continuing to raise funds for our endowment, safely deposited with the Calgary Foundation. The need in our community continues.
Our goal is to raise $50,000.
If we are successful, our endowment will surpass $600,000 and allow us to grant nearly $25,000 in 2021.
